Upon analyzing the needs of the children in the town of Guararí in Heredia, Costa Rica, who find themselves in a cycle where they believe they have limited life options, encountering models of school dropout and poor decisions that they take as examples to emulate, we have envisioned being a solution to break this cycle. Our goal is to instill values and a sense of responsibility in children through a soccer workshop, demonstrating that there is more to expect from life and fostering a model of effort, dedication, and love for what they do. Yes, we are using a sport that evokes so many emotions and passions, such as soccer. In light of the above, we decided to create a soccer workshop in the central area of Heredia. To breathe new life into the children and remove them from the familiar model they know, we chose to conduct the workshop on a soccer field. On October 22, 2022, near Heredia Centro, at what is known as the Carmen field, with the proper permission from the facility's regulatory body, the Heredia Canton Committee for Sports and Recreation, we launched the workshop.
